About the band

Hailing from the Sydney warehouse music scene, Fìrinn are a celtic fusion party band who have been tearing up festival stages all over Australia. Serving up a swirling brew of dirty celtic riffs, thumping beats, reggae and raga, they have members from around the globe, including Tamil Sri Lanka, Coptic Egypt and the highlands of Scotland. Firinn will get you moving on the dance floor and take you on a wild music journey.

Original and traditional melodies on the electric bagpipes and low whistle mash up with swirling electric guitar, droning harmonium and big rolling grooves. Add some high energy drumming to a rowdy stage caper and Fìrinn create a raucous dance floor, delivering a hot take on ancient and modern celtic tunes.
